Based on Ron's review and other on ExpeditionPortal, we pulled the trigger today on a 43QT model. No more $349 deals, but got one for $379 with free shipping. Can't wait to test it out.

It arrived yesterday in excellent condition and well packed (maybe over packed). The box was so big I thought maybe I ordered a fridge for the house
 .Very quiet and cooled off a 12-pack of Gordon Biersch pretty quick. I tried running it from my 400 watt Xantrex portable battery/flashlight/compressor/inverter. I ran it from the 12-volt plug for 24 hours before the portable battery died. The fridge was set to 45 degrees and it was 65-70 degrees in the house during that time. I'll have to see how it behaves in the heat at some point. Not as small or efficient as an ARB, but all in all, we're happy with it on day 2.
