    Not sure of the thread, I just cut the cooler lines and reused the fittings. I went w/ the high pressure hose just b/c it was readily available, but a compression fitting and a barbed end would probably be the way to go.

    Looks like you flared the hard line to take a JIC (AN) fitting.

    I didn't have to flare it at all to fit the JIC fittings. just slipped it over the tubing and tightened. easy peasy.
