    Cool Pictures of Installs

Remove factor rear bumper and mark rear quarter panels for cutting. Also remove upper support bolts for factory hitch. I forgot to take a picture before Frank cut side panels but we took a couple pictures after to give an idea of the cut.

nice...looks really great.......I plan to build a bumper very similar to the RTE one soon (couple months)....kind of a hybrid of the RTE and Mike's bumpers. Btw....my friend just brought in test welds that were (supposedly....err....I dont know what I am looking for really) very good....he is a close friend and is not charging....we are building everything (seriously...everything) together.

    Field Report!

The Mendo trail clearing trip was my first time out with the new Rovertym bumper. I took one solid bump on it going through a gully and it handled it no problem! So far it gets a big thumbs up!

I went out to lunch today to find my taillight lying on the ground under my truck. I think the rain washed away the mud that was holding it in place.

I just talked to Tony about ordering a new bumper.

I average one lost taillight per trip, so the new bumper should pay for itself within 2 years.
