    Clearing "gearbox fault" code?

Truck in question is a 2000 P38 stock with 88k on her.

After our trip across the country Akrange's truck threw some codes and a gearbox fault on the dash computer. She had started limping and stalled out a few times so we parked her until we got a new MAF on advice of quite a few smarter folks than me. Installed MAF last night and cleared the SES codes but gearbox code on dash is still there.

Truck drives fine other than an occasional dashlight flicker and a sluggish front air bag inflation.

Any suggestions on how to clear the gearbox code to see if it returns would be appreciated.

My tranny acted up, not throwing codes, when the shift switch got wet. I let it dry and all's well again for 6 months now. Do not know how to reset trans codes without the bad word ( dealer ).
