Exclamation Bill to require annual inspections

This is the link from BritPac. They have called attention to it a couple of times. This could and will effect many of us on the board with increased, and stupid/useless fees.

It is the first article as of today, 8 August 07

I wish someone would put a proposition on the ballot for all the blathering idiots in Sacramento, take away their perks, give them 10 bucks a year and make them a part-time legislature, like they'd get 30 days a year to come up with anything, that and re-do the term limits so when their time is up the can't play switch a job and get into another elected job for more years on the taxpayer's titty.

They worry about *censored**censored**censored**censored* like feng shuy and smog on old cars that don't get driven that much and we have roads that are worse than goat trails, murders going on constantly, ad nauseum.

That just sucks. I am glad to be in Texas!

I love Cali, but I can just visit when I want. These "officials" have nothing better to do obviously...

Well, it does say that pre 1976 are still exempt. So those around the Series world are ok.

Seems to me, that they are trying to get rid of all those American monstrosities from the 80's.

But then again, in 4 years my D1 will be 15 yrs old.

I got a letter in the mail last month from ABAG (Association of Bay Area Governments) offering to buy my series for $1,500 and crush it in an effert to take "old, gross polluting vehicles" off the roads.

I wrote them a letter back with a $25,000 counter offer. Haven't heard back.
