2007 Range Rover sport hse fault codes p0730&p0735

Been getting them for a while now. runs fine most of the time. When they do come on just turning off and restarting resets the codes. Vehicle has 123000 miles on it. two different garages told me time for a new transmission. $9000. any cheaper ideas or do the kids go to public school next year?

Start by having the fluid checked by someone who really knows how to check ZF6HP transmission fluid, there is a very specific way to do it. If the fluid is good and clean. Then it may in fact be time for a transmission.
