    Disco I SD '99 Stock 144k mi. New stock suspension, new steering box, new rear shaft joints, Cooper Discovery ATR's and announcing a totally redone set of heads. May 2013: Brakes converted to Defender style: Calipers, stainless flex lines, drilled, slotted and vented rotors. Stops like it hit a wall when you stand on them now!
    12-2016 update: Coopers are done. Michelin Defender LTXs on the way!

    No...no, it's not. It has some elements of coolness I suppose. I like VW split window buses, and I like 4X4s, and to a very minor extent I guess I sort of like stretch limos, but combining them all into one vehicle just...doesn't quite work for me! It's pretty much for show only, you can't really do anything with it. Almost too long to drive in traffic, way too long to drive on a trail. But I suppose they could have made it a bit cooler by adding skylight windows all down the edges of the roof.

    Is t even four wheel drive. Don't see a front drive shaft.
