    1993 LWB Classic Differentials

I was wondering if the front and the rear differentials are interchangeable on my 93 RRC LWB. Any info would be appreciated.

They should be. They were interchangeable on my '92 RR and on (almost) all the Series Rovers I owned, which used the same Rover diff, both front and rear.

More than likely they are interchangeable. However, 93 was a crossover year for differentials. With no specific VIN cutoff, some 93s had 10 spline others 24 spline. I have even heard some vehicles had both! The only way to confirm is the pull the axles and count the number of splines where it inserts in to the side gear of the diff.

Thanks for the info, I'll check the axles when I service the bearings this weekend.
