D1 oil pressure sender thread pitch

Anyone know off hand what the thread pitch for the stock oil pressure sender on the D1 is? I want to add a gauge so i can see what is going on in that department. Drives me nuts after having proper oil pressure gauges in all my previous cars. Need to find an adapter so i can plumb a normal one in..

I do not knowing around off the top of my head what the thread pitch is, Iam sure I have one laying around at work and could measure, however I installed a plate last week for a customer that goes on the oil filter mount that you can attach senders for say oil pressure and oil temp. was a clean setup and may work for you.

    1/2x20 UNF.
You'll need to get a banjo union and bolt if you want to keep the warning light also. A number of places sell them, Brakequip being just one.

I'm thinking about using an vdo gauge that i have sitting around that has both a low pressure switch terminal and an output for the gauge on the sender. i used it before on my VW to replace the stock low pressure sender, it activates at 7 or 8 psi iirc where the range for the stock sender i think is 3-6 psi. Should be just fine.. Other than using the glowshift adapter, is there any place where a sender for a temp gauge could be placed? I was looking at the brakequip stuff yesterday and they have a banjo bolt that is the correct thread pitch as well as a banjo adapter that has an m10x1 thread pitch which would fit my VDO sender i have. I'm thinking about adding a m10x1 T fitting and running a temp sender there, just wondering how much oil circulation that spot on the front housing would get and would it give an accurate oil temp reading.

For a temp sender you want the sending until immersed in the oil. The one on my Lightweight is in the line. Item 42 below.
