Any change in tire size can change the speedo but only by a couple of MPH.

hey mike thanks for the input but im not so much worried about the speedo or the little loss of actiual tire hight. my cousin has a set of 235/75/R16 BFG Mud km2 that still have about 60-75% tread and only wants $200 for the set. cant beat that. just wasnt sure if the size would be to drastic of a down size should be fine thoe.

235/80's arent bad and about the same height, 235/70 is a little shorter then what I would want.

after a little more reading i dont think they are not going to fit to well with out a lift. i dont mind triming some of the plastic from the bumper but dont realy want to be cuting any metal.
