Haha, thought someone would see that. 4.6 gems block. Looking for a new home. It's nervous with all these diesel parts. It actually is under the desk right now.

Never realized how big the truck is, until I stood in the engine bay.

That shot does make the truck look huge. What size tires are those?

    Small Updates

About done with the engine revamping. Waiting on engine mounts to be able to drop the assembly in the truck. All mounted together with the R380 and transfer case. Still have to make my clutch pedal. Starting on that today. Couple of pics of the whole assembly here. Have acquired more tools than I care to move next time. All done inside my garage. The neighbors have started getting curious. Inside of the truck and underneath the tunnel were sprayed with Lizard Skin. Cool stuff. Found the radiator was rodden, the new one should be here Tuesday. Found one at Safari HP in Orlando. Thanks Mr. Peters.

Haha, yeah, its really exciting. Cleaned up some more parts, installed just about everything on the engine minus a few things after it drops in. Hopefully the rest of my parts come in this week. I will be in Yuma 'til the end of week dropping off a couple of planes, so not much will get done.

Finally, the motor resides in its proper home. Still have to fab up the drivers side trans mount. Hopefully do that tomorrow or the next. Still lots more to go. Working on the pedal assy, and redoing some wiring. And yes, had to cut for clearance. I wanted the ability to take the valve cover off without pulling the engine. For my engine, this is where everything fits. With the radiator and shroud fitted, it lines up perfect. Believe me, I was rechecking and rechecking before I made some room. Anyone else run into this.

The one I have doesn't have the cooler option. It has this piece that loops the two ports together. It looks factory and I've read in the manual about it.
