    Micro Lamps in Switches

Replaced a couple burned out micro lamps in my Discovery I today and started wondering if everyone knows how simple this is and where to get the lamps. Radio Shack Micro Lamps #7219 cost 2 bucks for 2 bulbs. The other option is by a bulb with holder for a couple bucks plus shipping.

I have a few switches with burned out bulbs. care to do a quick write up for us less-electrically inclined persons?

Alright then. This is lame but I blabbered through the process of changing out one bulb. Let me know what you think.

    You need a bigger knife!
Nicely done, though. I had no idea the bulbs were replaceable w/o the base or they had a colored cap.

The right tool for the right job!
That one is just in case I need to release my seat belts (like after a roll).

Thanks for the video. Like they say a picture is worth 1K words, but a moving picture is work 10K words. FYI, blabbering is allowed. I do that myself. :-)

Seeing the "tool" appear, after hearing, "......you need something sharp......", made the video entertaining as well as being educational.

You guys all have me laughing now. Yep, Breaking News... a farmer with dirty finger nails. I'll be more careful next time!

I'm looking forward to getting back on those ladders now that my welder has a proper power supply. I got rid of the knob and tube wiring!

Just to make it a little easier, their current (as of March 2012) catalog number is 272-1092 and they are still $1.99 per pack of two.
