    Modding a Greg Davis bumper?

I have yet to get the sliders welded to the bumper. This is a project I'd like to do over winter and was thinking about chopping the ends so the sliders are parallel to the ground. My hope is that the sliders will be level with the RTE front bumper, but I need to do some measuring to see how close that will be. I think if the ends get chopped it will shorten them to the point of not fitting in the wheel well where it bolts together.

    Has anyone done this?

Sure. I'll snap a few this weekend while I'm camping. I wound up doing the install without modding the sliders. By the time the bumper and sliders would have been square, the slider would be too short for the plate to bolt to the fender well.

The plate probably could have been bent and modified to fit so the sliders sat level. But really by the time you go through all of that it might not really be worth it.
Im really happy with my Greg Davis bumper.
