Keep out of the deep water.

Where is it coming from? The placement of the P38 ECU is a major concern anytime water is involved. Just about the only way I've seen to keep it dry is to keep water out of the interior of the truck.

Is there any advice on how to keep it out? or is there a sealed bag or something that i can purchase to keep the water out of the ECU.
Has anyone moved the ECU to a better place or are there better door seals that i can get

    Thanks

Honestly, not owning a P38 I'm far from an expert, but I haven't seen any kind of bag you could use. (Of course, it's stuff like this that is why I don't have a P38.)

IIRC, there was some kind of ECU waterproofing available from Lucky8 LLC at some point in the past, so I'd probably start with calling Justin. If that fails, then depending on your intended uses for the truck, on actual size of the ECU, and available space under the seat I might start looking at the possibility of relocating the ECU in to something like a pelican case. (I'm not saying this is the way to go, but it's the next thing I would think to do some research on.)

Otherwise, I suspect that new door seals would be the place to start. Those can probably be had from any number of vendors...

Also, have you posted this question up over on RangeRovers.net or in the RangeRover forum on this site? You might get more (and better) responses in a RR specific forum...

Dave, delete your other duplicate thread if you would, don't need two threads to get help.

Mike, I think you mean the OP (Shawn?), right? It looks like he opened a thread in the P38 forum, where it will hopefully get more attention from someone who really knows the P38's. (In other word, not me.)

As a Mod, can you merge this thread into that one?
