    ARB winch bumper mounting

I'm purchasing a used arb bumper and have heard that they will twist when winching. I'm thinking of reinforcing the mount somehow. Anybody done this or have any ideas about it?

Send me your e-mail address and I'll send you some picture showing how to beef up that bumper installation.

Here is what I did. It takes a bit of fab work but basically the mounts you see fit inside the frame rails. There is a stock crush plate inside the frame that we knocked out where the stock bumper mounts. With that out of the way the mounts extend into the bumper past the first cross memeber. It also uses 4 bolts eache side instead of two. Not air-bag approved but plenty strong.
