    Cabin air filter location

Where is the cabin air filter location on a 2002 Freelander?

    Need to change it!

    thanks

If you have the kind with the integrated "cover" on the filter, it does up in the passenger footwell below the glovebox. You will see a rectangular panel with 4 screws, just pop that open, slide the old one out, put the new one in, and done!

I think the ones without the cover go in the same place, but the plastic door/cover part stays with the car.

That worked. I had to get on the ground and look up at the bottom of the fan housing to see it.

    Thanks
