I have 235,000+ on my Disco 1997, still have original heater core...but I did a head gasket at 200,000. Had a hard brake line failure at 235,000...my disco runs good, no oil leaks nor does it burn oil.

Up to 87K now on my 02' DII SE......just put another 850 miles in a trip up and down Big Sur. No HGs, just a major cooling system overhaul ( or everything I could think of)..

Just because you can afford to "buy" Land Rover doesn't mean you can afford to "own" a Land Rover!!!

Also list any major repairs or replacements you have had.

I have just turned 170,000 on my 99' Disco 2
Head gaskets and timing cover gasket are probably the biggest repairs I have had,
Oh and that 12 hr heater core replacement

The eldest no longer a tax deduction's D1 recently gave up at 270K. Thanks to TigerDan, it should be back on the road, in a few days. Reminds me, I need to get outside & back to work on it.

188579 miles on my 99! Just changed the o2 sensors today and she lost only half a quat of oil after a 5000 mile interval change as well. I did a head gasket at 182000 miles. Other than that just oil changes and tire rotation she runs strong for a hot weather vehicle. Living in Oklahoma 100 degree days are just now ending. Keep the disco running strong!
