    DI front recovery options

So my 95 DI is running stock bumpers and i do not have a front steering guard/skid plate.
the factory welded loops on the frame are shady to begin with.

looking for reliable options for front recovery points, add on heavy duty hooks, drings etc. im not buying a $600 bumper right now either

    whos using what? pics?

those front tie down points are used for shipping the vehicle only and are in noooooo way intended for recovery. They are very likely to just rip off of the truck.

Jate rings are what you are after fairly cheap.

Jate rings are used for recovery on MoD Rovers.
Just make sure you get quality ones. Some, I hear, are junk.

Ministry of Defense, kinda like our DoD. Those hooks (even with the safety clasp) are pretty sketchy.

gotcha...i know we've pulled a few stuck rigs out with those hooks before w/no issues. Hell, at last years MAR the tcase blew apart before the hook even considered giving way.

They are bolted through the frame and fairly beefy, don't know what more you can ask for.

Only potential issues are that getting to them can be tough and due to the location of where they are, frequently you have offcamber pulls.
