3 amigos and Red brake light

I recently just bought a 2002 discovery II from a family member. I dont know a lot about the vehicle yet. the major problem I have is that i can not echeck the vehicle because the 3 amigos and the red brake light are on. Does anyone have an idea as to what this is or have you experienced it yourself. I appreciate your time, Tony

Tony, being new to Rover this could take some time. If you want, send me your number, I'll be glad to call and walk you thru a few thing you should know/do regarding the brakes.

    The quick respnse:
You have registered a fault or problem with your ABS system. It maybe an easy fix - squeeky brakes or a more difficult situation such as your ABS modulator. Either way, those lights will not go away untill the propper scanner is used to identify the fault and then clear the lights. This is either done at the delaership, local independent LR mechanic or you buy the scanner @ $199 and scan it yourself. That is the quickie answer.
DII - Armor front and sides. Lot's of gadgets and leaks.
