    Team LRRForums 2010 Schedule

For those of you planning to run next year with me next
year here is my schedule so far for next year. I personally ran
these 4 events is 2009 and looking forward to doing so in 2010.
I also plan to add a couple more that peak my interest. I was
interested in the well known Death Ride but had a conflict in my
schedule. This year the death ride is on the same weekend of the
Livestrong Challenge so I plan to stick with that again this year.

    Livestrong Challenge - July 11, 2010 Pre-Registration till 12-31-09 $35

After Dec 31 Registration goes to $45. Also with the Livestrong challenge
you commit to $250 towards cancer.. Very good cause but if you do not
get $250 in donations you will be required to make the difference to ride.
I signed up as a team for this event under Team LRRF. Lastly, I will be riding
the 100mile course as I did last year. Metcalf hill here I come and I will be ready
    this year!

Mount Shasta Summit Century - August 1, 2010

This is a new ride on my list. I'm planning on running the 100mile Summit course
    with 10,500 feet of climbing.

High Sierra Fall Century - September 18, 2010

This was a great ride last year, very scenic, good climbs and lots of support. Pretty good drive so I plan to do a little better planning this year and get up a day early and come home the next.

Tour for Woodside - Sept 26, 2010 - Tenative Date - Not posted yet

PCRover and I ran this one in 2009. Had a great time. We ran the 55mile
course this year but hopefully we can step up into the 100miler this year. Kings
    Mountain Road is challenging!

2010 Levi Leipheimer King Ridge GranFondo - October 9th, 2010

Never ridden this one but looks great and its should be an awesome event in Santa Rosa. This is put on by
Professional Rider Levi Leipheimer, heck we might get lucky and Armstrong will show up. Anyhow, 100 miles map
is full so I registered for the 65miler. This should be a nice relaxing run.

Updated my list today.. Just a little bump and reminder to register for the Livestrong by the 31st and save on registration fee. Go team LRRF!

I suspect that those leading each ride can start a thread in regards to planning, ect.

Thanks for the reminder. Do you feel like doing the Shasta Super Century? 135 miles with 16,500 feet of Climbing? I am not sure I would be up for that, but it would be a good goal. Last season, on a weekend ride, I rode a 70 mile ride with about 10K of climbing and that was fine. So Super Century would be a challenge to say the least. I frequently ride 70-80 miles, but I hardly ever go over 100.

Also, I am going to plan a ride from Folsom to South Lake Tahoe this summer. A buddy of mine knows a good route. I will keep the list posted for anyone that would like to join us.

Just found this thread, not sure how I missed it. I need to work on my own schedule for the year, all I know for sure right now is that I will be doing the Livestrong Challenge. I will look at the official LRRF team schedule rides and see if they make sense for me. 10k climbing ouch! We'll see if my training program gets me in good enough condition for this, I have a feeling it will...

How about a little tune up in March at the Solvang Century? (not the double)
Looks like a fairly flat profile with only 3435' of climbing.
